Merford supports several projects

Every year Merford supports some projects in developing countries.
This year we have chosen projects, which where brought up by our co-workers.
By this news item we would like to give you more information.

One of the selected projects is the Child Rescue Centre in Kenia.
The Child Rescueing Centre International deals with orphans, street children, abused children and children infected and affected by the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Many of these children were abandoned, neglected and abused and some of them were living in the streets. CRC is offering help to those children (food, medical care, clothes and education) and a place to stay.

The organisation has bought a piece of land for its own buildings, to have the possibility for more children living at the centre. They also intend to start income generating projects such as poultry farming, livestock farming and crop farming.
